Play! by Sephora April 2016 Subscription Box

In March I noticed an email in my inbox from Sephora.

I typically ignore promotional emails, but something about this one captured my interest.

As a VIB (rewards program), I was being offered the opportunity to subscribe to Sephora's new Play! box.

The subscription is $10 a month (plus tax where applicable) and ships samples to your door.  (For me, I spent $10.83.)  The great thing for VIB card holders is that the $10 subscription fee (as I understand it) will also count towards your purchases for rewards.  And inside the "play booklet", there is a play card to give you additional bonus points when you shop with Sephora.

I thought I was going to get March's box and was pretty disappointed when it did not show up (after all, I signed up in March and the promo featured the March goodies).

However, when my box shipped, I got an email with a tracking number and knew when it should arrive. (My box decided to hang out in Carrollton, TX for about 4 days).

At this time, it appears the Play! by Sephora box is offered by invitation only, but if you get the opportunity, I would suggest you welcome this happy little box into your home!

The products inside the box were:  MILK Makeup Sunshine Oil (smells fabulous - the Sunshine name is so appropriate!), Good Genes Treatment by Sunday Riley, pep-start eye cream by Clinique, NARS lip crayon in Rikugien (I love NARS lip crayons!), Sephora Colorful cheek ink gel (a fun pink cheek stain), and Derek Lam 10 Crosby 2AM Kiss perfume sample.

(I wonder how many times they sent the promo email to me before I opened it?!?)
